Lesson #36: The value of masterminds

A mastermind is a container for transformation. It is a connected group who go through a journey of connection, expression and transformation. It is a structure with accountability and support.

In a mastermind you are working towards something. It could be a business goal but it could also be a relationship goal, a health goal, a creative goal.

The goal brings about the forward action, while the connection, vulnerability and consciousness brings about the transformation.

When we do things on our own we limit ourselves. In connecting with others we open up our world in all sorts of ways.

There is a joy in setting a goal and moving towards it. It is a sense of empowerment and purpose and an invitation for adventure.

I’ve been in and run a few masterminds. I love them. No two are really alike. But what they have in common are people who are striving towards something, and that is inspiring to me.

Masterminds have helped me to take bigger leaps and stop unhelpful sidetracks. They are something I will always endeavour to have in my life.

I highly recommend anyone to create or join a mastermind group. All of the five elements of Creative Evolution are present in a mastermind group.
